CAN FLY,

SOME CAnNOT.

I call this painting SOME FISH CAN FLY, SOME CANNOT because some fish can fly and some cannot. This is one of my favourite pieces. It is is a fantasy, both beautiful and symbolic, and has a powerful dreamlike quality about it that illustrates a deep truth about what it is to be human and to live together on this planet. Fish are like flowers, they both have wings. Or not.

SOME FISH CAN FLY is an allegory of hope
i.e. a door open onto endless possibilities. 
A fish is a fish, but .....
